Single Price Option

Single Price Option

The buyers from different markets sometimes have a plan or project for which they simply want to ask different suppliers for a global value, with no need to define a specific product or service and fill the corresponding price list during the tender creation. Now this process is more efficient as the current questionnaire phase is simpler, allowing the buyers to define what they want to ask in terms of quotation, no matter if they need a global value for an already defined project or if they intend to specify different individual products and/or services.

Definition of Products, Services and Lots

When a buyer is creating a new Tender in the “Questionnaire” step, a new mandatory field called “Request a quote” is displayed with a balloon next to it to assist the user with the following message: “Definition of Needs: Configure here if you want one product, several or just define a global value”.

Once the buyer clicks on the mandatory field, a list with the following options is displayed:

  • More than One Type of Product / Service
  • One Type of Product / Service
  • Global Value

    Global Value

If a buyer desires to ask for a global value for its project, then he/she should click on the option “Global Value” and the following fields will be displayed:

    • “What do you want to buy?” – Mandatory field
    • “Total Reference Price (Internal)” – Optional field
    • “Supplier reply template” – Optional field
    • “Reason for not using lots” (only available for procedures that require lots) – Mandatory field

Adding a Supplier Reply Template - COMING SOON

When a user adds a template using Global Value, a mandatory question will be available for the supplier side to answer.

One Type of Product / Service

When the buyer wants to define that he/she needs to request a quote for only one type of product or service, then the option “One type of product / service” must be chosen in the new field “Request a quote…”. As soon as this option is selected, the following options are displayed:

    • “What do you want to buy” – Mandatory field
    • “Quantity” – Mandatory field
    • “Reference Unit Price (Internal)” – Optional field
    • “Reason for not using lots” (only available for procedures that require lots) – Mandatory field

More than One Type of Product / Service

When the buyer wants to request a quote for more than one type of product/service, then he/she must choose the option “More than one type of product / service” in the new field “Request a quote…”. When this option is selected, the “Questionnaire” step displays the price list with 2 rows to be filled. The question “Define Lots?” is available only for Tenders that allow lots after the option “More than one type of product/service” is selected.

For Tenders and markets where lots are mandatory, a new field called “Reason for not using lots?” will appear with the text area if the user wished to not use lots.

    Changing Quote Type

When a buyer is completing the “Questionnaire” step for a quote type “More than one type of product/service” and has already all the fields filled, it is still possible to change the quote type. Simply click on the desired quote type, then a warning message will be displayed “By confirming this action all the Price List Questions will be lost, do you wish to continue?”. Click “Confirm” and the new quote type will change.
